Opal

Opal stone belongs to the silica group and is actually a type of quartz. It is formed as a result of the movement and sedimentation of underground water in the voids between rocks. Opal is one of the most commonly used precious stones for jewelry and decoration purposes worldwide. Opal deposits can be found in several provinces of Turkey, such as Afyon, Çanakkale, Eskişehir, and Kütahya. Our mine in Afyonkarahisar produces Common Opal type, which consists of a range of beautiful colors including wonderful pastel variety. Common opal can be found in a wider range of colors than most other precious stones.

Honey Opal

Honey Opal gets its name from its brownish-orange color. It offers a more transparent and shiny visual spectacle compared to other opal types. It is one of our most preferred products, especially in jewelry making.
